The Australian Open is the pinnacle event for squash on the Australian events calendar and has a rich history dating back to 1928. The prestigious event is on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour and attracts the best domestic players and an international contingent all vying for the crown of Australian Open Champion.

The 2022 City Tattersalls Club Australian Open contains the Men's and Women's PSA Challenger 30 events and the John Ireland Graded event including Men's and Women's Premier, A, B, C, D and junior graded events with $10,000 cash and prizes available for graded alone!

TOURNAMENT DATES:
Graded Entries Close: 16 October 2022
PSA Open Draws: 26 - 30 October 2022
Graded Draws: 28-30 October 2022

TOURNAMENT LOCATION:
This event will be played over 3 different venues in Sydney.
* Sydney University Sport & Fitness Centre (3 courts)
* Castlereagh Club (2 courts)
* Tattersalls Club on Hyde Park (1 court)

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
* Men's and Women's Open will be registered as WSF & PSA National Championships and eligible for PSA ranking points.
* Graded Men's and Women's Events include Premier, A, B, C, D
* Junior Events available and ability based on SportyhQ ratings.
* Graded events will be seeded based on SportyHQ ratings, please enquire if unsure on grade.
* Guaranteed three matches in all Graded Events.
* Scoring: PAR 11, Best of 5 games.
* Official Ball: Dunlop Pro
* All players under the age of 19 must wear Squash Australia approved eye-wear.
* Squash Australia reserves the right to combine events and move entrants between events where deemed necessary.

FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL FUNCTION:
When: Friday 28 October from 6:00pm
Where: Castlereagh Club, Level 1
Food & drink will be available and Squash available to watch on the big screen

CHAMPIONSHIP DINNER - SOLD OUT
When: Saturday 29 October from 6.00pm
Where: Tattersalls Club on Hyde Park, 181 Elizabeth St, Sydney
Cost: $70 per person includes 2 course meal and a drink on arrival.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
Dress code: Cocktail Attire
